This full color picture book follows a Teddy bear who wishes to become a world famous rock star and the challenges he faces as he works towards fulfilling his dreams.

Quaid Leckey is a software developer & web designer by trade and has taken his knowledge of graphic design for websites and video games to the pages, crafting the wonderfully detailed and colorful pages by utilizing vector techniques popularized modern web design styles.

As an experiment, the entire publication was put together using open source software (development originally started on a Fedora Linux machine, using Inkscape for illustrations and LibreOffice for layout)

Overall, the project proved a success and apart from a few minor layout issues resulting from the accuracy allowed by the LibreOffice base, no major problems were encountered.

We hope this marks the start of a long series of related books that bring joy and happiness to the whole family. For now though, Quaid will be working on completing on a science fiction novel that he had the idea for during his schooling years.
